May your life be filled with Peace and Love and may you Live the Dream. – Susie Hadland.

Susie Hadland, an award winning published photographer, was born in Missoula, Montana, and lived on the Flathead Indian Reservation in Arlee, Montana. It was here that she began to appreciate the splendor of nature and the beautiful Montana landscape.

At an early age, Susie’s family relocated from the green rolling plains of Montana to the beauty hidden in the Las Vegas desert. In 1982, she relocated to the Oregon coastal region where the breathtaking scenery, along with the panoramic beauty of the Pacific Ocean provided the incentive and spark that kindles the flame of her love for photography which she so aptly captures on film and shares with us all. It was in Florence, Oregon that Susie began to seriously focus on developing her skills and talents as a photographer. Determination urged her on to teach herself, and learn as much as possible about photography and camera equipment through classes, books and literature. Her rewards were realized early on with having several of her early works exhibited and sold to interested admirers.

As life changes, Susie seized the opportunity to migrate back to Nevada, where she now resides and continues the pursuit of her photographic dream. Like a fine painting, Susie utilizes the desert backdrop as her easel, her cameras as her paintbrush, and nature provides her with an illustrious palette of color.

In addition to photographing nature and wildlife, Susie expanded her talents into the sports photography arena, wedding photography, as well as individual and family portraiture. From 1982 to 1990, she photographed the UNLV Running Rebels and was the official photographer for the UNLV Basketball Alumni Association. In 1987, Susie traveled to the Far East with the UNLV Basketball Alumni Association to photograph a six game tour in the three countries.

Susie’s list of subjects is impressive, and encompasses sports figures from basketball, auto racing, boxing, Olympic Events – such personalities as Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Magic Johnson, Al Unser Jr, Paul Newman, - and entertainment personalities such as Willie Nelson, Diana Ross, Rod Stewart, Hall and Oates, and others.

Susie has a natural passion for travel, and this wanderlust trait allows her to arouse our visual senses through which we can reach an apex of ocular pleasure and awe. Susie is the owner/operator of Moonsets Photography. She has the distinction of being the only female photographer in the State of Nevada to have had two “one-woman” exhibits featuring Jerry Tarktanian and numerous Runnin Rebel stars. These exhibits received accolades of praise and statewide publicity through the newspaper and radio media.
